Kristen Staby Rembold’s most recent book is a collection of poetry, Music Lesson, published by Future Cycle Press. She also has published a novel, Felicity, winner of Mid-List Press First Fiction Series Award, and two poetry chapbooks, Leaf and Tendril and Coming into This World. Her writing has appeared in many literary journals and periodicals including Southern Poetry Review, Green Mountains Review, Literary Mama, Crab Orchard Review, Appalachia, and New Ohio Review. Her poems have been finalists in the 2015 Erskine J. Poetry Contest at Smartish Pace, in the 2010 Morton Mars Prize at the Southwest Review, and in the 2010 Ron Rash Awards at the Broad River Review. She has twice been a fellow at Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She holds degrees from Northwestern University and the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers.
