Sara Moore Wagner wins the
2021 Cider Press Review Editors’ Prize
with Swan Wife

Sara Moore Wagner of West Chester, Ohio has won the 2021 Cider Press Review Editors’ Prize Book Award for her manuscript, Swan Wife. Runner-up was The Needles RoadĀ  by Lee PetersonĀ  and Honorable Mention goes to The Acrobatic Company of the Invisible by George Looney.

Sara Moore Wagner is the author of the poetry manuscript Hillbilly Madonna (2020 Driftwood Press Manuscript prize winner), a 2021 National Poetry Series Finalist, and the recipient of a 2019 Sustainable Arts Foundation award. Her poetry has appeared in many journals and anthologies including Sixth Finch, Waxwing, Nimrod, Beloit Poetry Journal, and The Cincinnati Review, among others. She lives in West Chester Ohio with her husband Jon, and children Cohen, Daisy, and Vivienne.

Wagner will receive a standard publishing contract, 25 author copies of the book, and a $1000 honorarium. Swan Wife is scheduled to be published in August, 2022.
