Something about snow
in the mountains.
Something about
snowdrops in the morning.
All those syllables
frolicking on an alpine hillside.
All those petals bent
toward the sun spelling
out snow fall or snow
flakes or snow
drifts, catching sunrise
in their dew dipped
faces. Or is it snow rise
and sun drops. Is it sun
fall and snow tops.
I remember thinking,
I better write that down
before all the flowers
wilt, before all the
softness melts away.
