CPR editors just can’t get enough of your great poetry. So we’ve extended our annual reading period by two full weeks.
We will be accepting submissions of poetry for ALL issues of Volume 19 through June 17, 2017.
Please send up to five original poems or translations (10 page total maximum) using our convenient online submission manager. Author information and bio will be requested if a poem is accepted for publication. We also accept reviews of full-length poetry collections (preferred length: 500 words)

The 2015 Cider Press Review Book Award is now open to accept submissions. We will be accepting manuscripts of full-length collections of poetry between September 1 and November 30.
The annual Cider Press Review Book Award offers a $1,500 prize, publication, and 25 author’s copies of a book-length collection of poetry. Author receives a standard publishing contract. Initial print run is not less than 1,000 copies.
2015 judge is Linda Pastan.
The winning book from our 2014 contest, Steel by Alison Prine, is in production for release in January, 2016.

CPR editors are now reading new work for all issues debuting in 2015 (plus January, 2016). The editors read submissions for the journal from January 1 to May 31.
Please send up to five original poems or translations along with a brief cover letter. Select the current “Journal…” genre. WE STRONGLY PREFER ONLINE SUBMISSIONS.
We also accept submissions by mail. Consider up to five poems, 10 page total maximum. Each poem should be on a separate page. Cover letter should include current contact information, email address, phone, and a short bio (6 lines max). Include SASE for response only; no enclosures will be returned.
We also welcome reviews of books in approximately 500 words. Reviews will be considered year-round. Select “Reviews” genre.
