The editors are delighted to announce that Camasin Pedroja of Portland, Oregon, won the 2018 Cider Press Review Book Award for her poetry collection Notes on Vanishing.
Camasin Pedroja’s manuscript, Notes on Vanishing, was selected for the 2019 CPR Book Award by final judge Leona Sevick . Ms. Pedroja receives $1,500, publication of her book by Cider Press Review, and 25 author copies.
Cammy Pedroja is a writer living in Portland, Oregon with her husband and daughter. Her work has appeared widely across print and digital publications like FIELD, New England Review, Mid-American Review, Verse Daily, PANK, and many others. She is also a recent winner of the James Wright Poetry Award. With an MFA in writing from Columbia University and a BA from Sarah Lawrence College, Cammy earned her Ph.D. in English Literature and Rhetoric from SUNY Binghamton.
The annual award is given for a poetry collection in English. The next deadline is November 30, 2019
