Are we ready to move on?
The problem with the girl who played Daisy in the movie—she is far too familiar.
She could be the one who was once engaged to Heath Ledger. But she’s not.
In truth, I can’t remember her name, which is a problem of forgettability.
Further, there are corollary problems with habiliment.
It is difficult to tell how far it extends– this terrible, terrible problem.
In photographs, we rarely glimpse beneath the knee.
And the problem with knees, of course, is androgyny.
You’d be hard pressed to tell Meghan Fox from my great uncle George.
Which is of course an impediment to the assessment of hotness,
and an impediment to hotness is a problem, indeed.
Now, the problem with problems, with women, with dresses–
they pop up like weeds in forgettable gardens.
The women, that is, in awkward rapture,
Knock-kneed seagulls swathed in white.
They look so much better from a distant shore.
