Submissions to Cider Press

The editors read submissions of individual poems from April 1 to August 31 each year, and full manuscripts (in conjunction with the CPR Annual Book Award) between September 1 and November 30 each calendar year.

We are currently reading for CPR Volume 10.

Please send up to five (5) original poems or translations, each printed on a separate sheet(s), along with a brief cover letter and SASE. Include current contact information, email, phone, and a short bio (6 lines max). We also welcome reviews of books in approximately 500 words.

Electronic submissions: Please use our online form to submit up to five poems or reviews. The system accepts .doc and .pdf files. We STRONGLY suggest one-word file names with no spaces or punctuation to avoid upload problems. MS Word 2007 users: please save your files as 2003 compatible before uploading.

CPR considers only previously unpublished work;
no simultaneous or email submissions. CPR pays one contributor's copy with discount on additional contributor copies. Acquires first North American serial rights. Always sends prepublication galleys.
