Play ButtonLiz Robbins’s poems have appeared in Barn Owl Review, Barrow Street, Greensboro Review, Harpur Palate, Margie, New Ohio Review, Poet Lore, Puerto del Sol, and Rattle, among others, and are forthcoming in Cimarron Review, The Journal, New York Quarterly, and Valparaiso Poetry Review, among others. Poems from her first book, Hope, As the World Is a Scorpion Fish (Backwaters P), were featured on Garrison Keillor’s The Writer’s Almanac and Verse Daily; other poems have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, Best New Poets, and Best of the Net.

Robbins is the recipient of an Intellectual Life grant and a Schultz Foundation grant, as well as the First Coast Poetry Award, judged by Robert Bly. In April, 2011, she presented her poetry at a New York Institute of Technology conference in Nanjing, China. Liz is an assistant professor of creative writing at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.
